Our Goal
The goal of our program is the incorporation of an individualized,
functional life-skills
and vocational program uniquely designed to
fulfill the educational needs of our Special Diploma Options 1 or 2 students with
developmental challenges in accordance with IDEA.
Mission of the Board of L.I.F.E. Academy
is to
graduate students with the skills necessary for optimum
independent living and supported employment.
SPAR and AYP reports are available in the main office for parent review.

The Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy is a tuition-free, open enrollment Lee County Charter School for students with intellectual disabilities who are entering grades six through twelve (ages 11-22).
The school's individualized programs focus on life skills, vocational training, and functional academics.
Out program is uniquely designed to fulfill the educational needs of students seeking Special Diploma
Options 1 or 2.
The Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy utilizes a random lottery process to select applicants if the number of student applications exceeds the availability. If space is available after the initial enrollment period, then all other applications will be considered on a first-come first-served basis.
Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability in the admission of students.

Vocational Training Program is offered to qualifying students in conjunction with other special programs.
The program is designed to successfully transition students with developmental disabilities into
post-school adult living.
This career-focused program consists of vocational assessments to determine individual interests, aptitudes, and capabilities. Career Exploration activities, including two-week paid internships expose the students to a variety of employment opportunities.
