Students decorate pumpkins for a cause
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Students in Fort Myers carved some pumpkin creations to give
local houses that Halloween feel,
and help their school at the same time.
Special needs students at the Goodwill L.I.F.E. Academy in Fort Myers decorated these pumpkins to sell.
It was part of a two-day fundraiser to help the school upgrade it's technology in the classrooms.
Students did all the work to raise the money themselves, creating the pumpkins and running the store during the sale.
Jesse was named "Top Pumpkin Salesman" in his class. No surprise there. He also helped paint a scarecrow pumpkin.
